Everything you own, in one place.

Orderist keeps a record of everything you own and who you'd like it to go to, kept up to date as life changes. Naming beneficiaries is how you tell it who that is, asset by asset, rather than as one single list.
A beneficiary is someone you'd like to receive a specific asset when the time comes. Beneficiaries are available on every Orderist plan, with no limit on how many you can add.
Beneficiaries are linked to individual assets, not to your account as a whole, so you'll add one while you're looking at a particular asset (a savings account, a property, a policy). You'll enter their full name and email address. They'll then get a message letting them know they've been included in someone's planning. They won't be told which asset, or its value, only that they've been named. You can also choose not to let them know at this stage, if you'd rather they weren't told yet.
A beneficiary doesn't need to do anything, verify their identity, or take any action while you're using Orderist. Their part only begins once an asset is actually being passed on.
Once your executor is ready to release an asset to them, they'll be notified that something has been left to them. They'll create an account (if needed) and complete a quick identity check before anything is shown to them. Once that's done, they'll see the asset and any documents linked to it, and it'll appear in their own Orderist account as something they now own.
